Getting Help
Stuck, or just want to know where to look? This page points you to the tools Vruksha gives you to stay informed, troubleshoot, and find answers — and where to turn when you need a human.
Notifications center
Vruksha keeps you in the loop through the Notifications center in the header (the bell icon). It collects alerts about things that matter to you and your role — a sales order approved, a payment due, a unit's status changed, a document expiring, and many more.
Notifications carry a priority so you know how urgently to react:
| Priority | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Critical | Act immediately. |
| High | Act within the hour. |
| Medium | Act within a few hours. |
| Low | Informational; review when convenient. |
Many notifications are also delivered by email for important events. For the complete list of what triggers a notification, see the Notification Catalog.
The audit trail
Whenever you need to answer "who changed this, and when?", the Audit & Logs module is your friend. Vruksha records every create, update, and delete — including the old and new values, the user responsible, and the time — for sensitive operations like status changes, ownership edits, role assignments, and approvals.
Because Vruksha uses soft deletes (records are hidden, not destroyed) and an immutable audit log, nothing important is ever silently lost. If a number looks wrong or a record went missing, the audit trail usually explains what happened. Access to Audit & Logs is itself permission-controlled, so it's typically available to administrators.
Common questions answered elsewhere
A lot of "why is this happening?" questions have quick answers in the documentation:
- "Why can't I see a menu or button?" — It's almost always a role/permission difference. See the Roles Overview and the RBAC Matrix.
- "Why can't I delete this record?" — It's probably referenced by something else (a party on a sales order, a stock parcel allocated to a project). See the soft-delete behavior in Navigating the App.
- "What does this status mean, and what can it become?" — Check the Status Lifecycles reference.
- "What's the rule for holdings / PAN / percentages?" — See the validation rules in the Reference section.
- "What does this term mean?" — Look it up in the Glossary.
Where to find support
If the documentation doesn't answer your question:
- Start with your administrator. For account access, role changes, password resets, and organization settings, your organization's Vruksha administrator is the fastest route.
- Check your notifications and audit trail for context before raising an issue — they often contain the answer.
- Reach out to support through the support channel your organization has set up for Vruksha. Your administrator can tell you how to contact the support team for issues that go beyond day-to-day use.
When you do raise a support request, it helps to include: what you were trying to do, what you expected, what actually happened, the record's ID (the prefixed ID shown in lists and search), and roughly when it occurred.
